- How long will my domain registration take to process?
This will typically take 24 - 72 hours. If there are any problems you will be notified asap!

- How long will my domain transfer take to process?
Domain name transfers typically take longer than registrations. A transfer could take anywhere from 3-6 days depending on your current registrar or hosting provider. When transfering a domain please notify your current hosting provider of the move to help things run smoothly. As of 10/28/06 all Domain Transfers require an Authorization Code!! Please contact your current domain registrar to aquire this authorization code prior to signing up for an account at Icicledrop.com. I cannot transfer your domain without this code. Transfering your domain is not a requirement to purchase webspace, however each package does come with a free domain name, so why not take advantage?

- Can I buy more space when I need it?
Sure you can buy more space whenever it's needed. You can either request to switch packages or we can negotiate a price and MB count. If you choose to switch packages mid-year you will only be charged the difference in cost. If you would like to switch packages at your renewal date, you will pay the full cost of the new package.

- What if my domain name is already taken!?
Please check all domain names before signing up. I'll check as well before I attempt to register it for you. However please check first to insure that you get the domain name that you want. http://www.checkdomain.com/.

- Will you help me build my website?
I'm sorry but the answer is no. I always try to acheive terrific customer service, however this is not a web design service. There are many good affordable web design services available on the web. Icicledrop.com does not offer web design services at this time.

- I registered my own domain but I still can't get my website to work :(
Please make sure that your name servers are set to the ones I send you. You can do this at your registrar.

- Is it safe to buy from you using my credit card?
Yes absolutely! I use paypal for payment and I don't have access to your card information at any time! PayPal handles all money transactions for me.

- I don't have a paypal account! Can I still buy hosting from you?
Of course! You are not required to have a paypal account to send money through them. All you have to do it click where it says "If you do not currently have a PayPal account Click Here" on the paypal payment page.

- What domain names can your register?
At the moment I will only register .com, .net, .org, .us, .info, .name, and .biz.

- If I change my mind can I get my money back?
Sure thing! This must be done within 10 days though!

- Do lower prices mean low-quality service?

- Will you renew my domain name at the end of each year?
If you choose to remain on our hosting for another year and pay the yearly hosting fee than yes I will re-new your domain, at no extra cost to you :) I will notify you 1 month before the end of the year to ask if you would like to re-new your hosting package. If I do not hear back from you before the renewal date you may possibly lose your domain name. I will only renew VIP customers domains automatically. VIP customers are account holders older than 2 years old.

- Can I have free hosting?
I'm sorry but that just is not possible. The price you pay for hosting goes to buying or transerfing your domain name. I'm not willing to pay for domain names out of my own pocket. I try to keep the prices the lowest and most affordable available on the internet.
